SendaFrizbee Straight to Your Door!

I have something pretty neat to share with you all!
I introduce you to…
A custom FrizbeeGram delivered to your recipient with FREE Shipping!
I was contacted by Danielle and Shawn about reviewing their product,
 and we decided upon this…
We call Little Boy, Bubba and Danielle was thoughtful enough to check out Mommy Does…
before contacting me. She asked if I would like to use a different
name since I don’t use his real name on my blog.
For me, that meant a lot. Just to know that she got to know me through my blog before contacting me showed that they are interested in those who might be interested in the product.
We are having a dinosaur birthday party so the green was perfect!
A closeup of the FrizbeeGram is below.
Underneath was a securely taped shipping label and it was easy to remove.
I received my FrizbeeGram within the week that Danielle put the order in.
The kids enjoy playing with it, and B likes to show them how to throw it.
I like that the FrizbeeGram isn’t just another “toy” that is to be used inside or outside.
It gets them active!
They like running after the FrizbeeGram, trying to
throw it and showing how they can ”do it by myself!”

Something that is great?
You can pick which color FrizbeeGram you want to buy,
and you choose the customized message you want applied to the FrizbeeGram!
You can choose to use their in-stock images, or your own image to make it fully customized.

FrizbeeGrams are a great idea for children’s Birthdays,
college students, athletes or not-so-athletic types.
If you have a friend who likes to play fetch with their dogs,
than you can send them a FrizbeeGram!

If you have any questions that you need answered… read their FAQs section.
It also explains why they call it a Frizbee rather than Frisbee.

Blogger Spotlight- The Classic Crafter

A while back, a ran across a blog named The Classic Crafter written by Jennifer.

BWS tips button
She began blogging while in the hospital due to pre-term labor.
As a way to pass time, and for 2011 her
resolutions included wanting to complete 100 projects.
As many of you know, I am attending college to become an Elementary teacher.
Jennifer is going to be teaching Kindergarten,
and has posted about a few simple, cheap and useful
ideas she will be implementing into her classroom.
She plans on going with a Garden Theme and
happened to make these really cute pointer sticks
I really love the Bumble Bee! I have a soft spot for Butterflies, and cute insects.
Many times I sit here, while working on my coursework,
and one of my assignments last
semester required me to design my room.
It wasn’t too hard, since I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like.
Hopefully this coming semester I will be able to decorate my classroom!
I could see myself using her cute pointer stick idea!

If you are a current teacher, you know that communication with a students guardians is key.
You know that keeping organized is also a fundamental key to success.
I am the type of person who is chaotically organized
since we don’t have much space in our current home.
Jennifer offers a Google Document for well, a Documentation Sheet.
You can keep track of all the communication between your students guardian and yourself.

She even made these cute little Alphabet Sticks,
which she plans to use with a pocket chart poem.
I can see myself using these to help teach Little Girl her alphabet before she begins Pre-K.

I also liked these pattern printables for play-doh that Jennifer created,
which you can have FREE access to!
Crafts and teaching aren’t the only things Jennifer blogs about!
Check out her Key-Lime Cake!
I would love for you to go on over and give a big “Howdy” to Jennifer!

Simplicity Handmade Paper Products by KM Douglass

So, I’ve finally written more than
300 posts with this being #301.
I’m pretty excited, and hope
you’ll all stick around for 300+ more!
 Have a great week!
On to this post though…
Around Christmas I received a package
 from Kelly at
 I won in a giveaway.
It was a scrapbooking package worth more than $40.
However, the price is only $30!
It really could not have come at a better time since money was tight,
and I really didn’t think of “me” while making sure everyone else had wonderful gifts
(at LOW prices of course ;D)

I never expected to win, but I did, and that made me so happy.
I don’t really “scrapbook,” but I love creating all types of crafts, and I also like to keep photo albums.
I wanted to share a few of the items I received in the package!
Little Girl modeling the wrapped package.
She offered to do so, since she knew it would be a gift.
I liked that personal detail.
The top,
a card for me from her, along with a handmade tag for gift-giving.
A set of clothes pins with magnets, 2 match-book notebooks,
10 glass pushpins, 2 photo mats, and 4 square wooden magnets.
Clothes pins…
Box packaging…
And bag packaging, in b&w cause everything is pretty in b&w!

I really like the colors of all the items I received,
and I was so happy with it in fact, that I wanted to share
my good fortune with you all!

How about a Baby Announcement?
Thanks for stopping by!
Well, Mc Kenna Layne Designs can help with all of your personalized and customized needs!
First, a little about Melissa, who is behind Mc Kenna Layne Designs…
“McKenna Layne Designs was created by a mother of three wonderful boys. How did the name come in you ask? Well it’s the name of my little girl I always wanted but never had. I loved the name and didn’t want it to “go to waste”, and so McKenna Layne Designs it was. I started out very simple with a few invitations and announcements requested by friends and family. Little by little more product was added and my business started booming.

I took several design classes in college but mainly used those ideas to make digital scrapbooks. I never thought of creating invitations or announcements until I was asked to create one. The light bulb went off in my head and it has been a wonderful experience and fun journey!”

Ad Space & Sponsor Spotlight… Winner!

This giveaway was a lot of fun for me and I loved reading all the guesses y’all had!
I was going to post about my thrifty find, but decided to change it up a bit.
I know not everyone has extra money to promote their Shops, Blogs, or what have you.
I know times are still hard for many and I thought to myself…
You have a good bit of people who follow, and you own friends and family read, so why not offer a chance to to someone who reads to promote what they do?
As long as it was family friendly I was all-game (or giveaway!)
Just to remind ya…
Winner will receive:
1 FREE Month of {Premium} Ad Space
(I threw in Premium, since my side-bar is as premium as it gets for now ;D)
&
A Sponsor Spotlight of their Blog, or Business/Shop…

The {1964} Singer sewing machine, table and chair sold by Sears Roebuck
at Goodwill costed….
{39.99}

Since this Giveaway was chosen by the closest or exact guess
I did this the old fashioned way…
via google.com
well as old fashioned as a TI-83, pencil, and paper gets ;D
The winner is…
{Melissa}
from
She also has a blog which
currently has a Giveaway for
 {2} $25.00 Shop Credits!
Hurry and Enter!
