Is your family looking for a Family Friendly way to ring in the New Year? Lately, our family has been trying to step out of our comfort zone. We live in a relatively small town. It’s HUGE on the map of course, but there really isn’t much to do here that interests a 3 and 4 year old set of little ones. Our school has been planning a pretty cool trip for one of it’s older classes, and they are going somewhere I can’t WAIT to visit Medieval Times!
Do you want to know how excited these kids are? Well, I just completed my internship phase of student teaching (and I graduate in May, if you were wondering!) I chose to complete my last supervisor evaluation around two weeks ago. I chose to go with a Medieval theme. The kids were engaged and full of questions the entire time! Though my lesson was focused on the topic of feudalism (political and economic system of the dark ages) they are now even more excited to visit the Dallas Castle’s Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament.
I have great news for readers who might still be on the fence about attending Medieval Times in the near future.
