Rendi Style Review and Giveaway

I really think Rendi Style is one of the coolest DIY sites around! To be honest, I never heard of Rendi Style until just recently. While browsing the Rendi Style website, I found so many really great products I hope to one day have in my home. Until then, I chose two different items. Below, you can see just how creative the wrapped product arrives. Bubble wrap encases this neat foldable card-like wrap the signs came in.

I chose to go with a non-traditional “established” sign called the Pattern Play Small Scallop Sign. I see so many that are for weddings such as… EST. 2008. As many of you know, I’m not married yet. However I do have two children. On my personal sign, I chose to use the birth years of our children. 2008 for Little Girl and 2009 for Little Boy along with their last name.

I like that you can mix-and-match the font you use on your sign. I used the same font for the initial and the last name, just because it was more “my style.”

Below, you can sort-of see the texture of the sign. It isn’t slippery-smooth so much as textured and smooth in one.

Rendy Style really is a gift from hand and heart. I find it admirable that Annie Danielson and her husband opened a little cottage painting program and later recognized it as a means for women to become empowered by contributing to their family incomes. Another really great ideal Rendi Style holds true to is their belief in bringing water to those who are less fortunate. To day, there have been 20 fresh water wells drilled with the help if Rendi Style and their goal is to keep drilling and offering mothers and children all of the world the access to water.

The second product I chose was for my mother. The week that I ordered her two products, my mother’s home burned and exploded. She lost everything I ever made her by hand, and many of our family memories in the form of material things burned or had severe smoke damage. In less than 16 minutes my mother’s world was flipped upside down. I wanted her to know how much she means to me, to be called my family. Family is dear to my heart, and my mom deserved a little sun shining through her cloudy mind and heart. The products define exceptional quality, and aren’t cheap looking whatsoever. They have beautiful images, and the designs are stunning.

I gave her this Pure Cottage Small Scallop Sign on her 7th  anniversary six days after her home turned to ash. This sign is now hanging in her temporary home, a 5th wheel camper sitting behind her old home directly facing what once was. Mom, I love you. I’m proud we are family and we will make it through this terrible time. You will be stronger and you will have a beautiful home again in the future. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Love, Brooke Anna…
