Our family is really into watching The Big Bang Theory. One character that makes us laugh nearly every scene they are in, is Howard. From his crazy clothes to his oh-so-smooth moves on the ladies… we can’t help but watch new and old episodes alike. Whether he is wearing too-tight-colored-jeans or tattoo sleeves and eyeliner, his outfit of choice is sure to bring a few giggles from me! I really don’t think there is another actor out there that could portray the hopeless romantic called Wolowitz.
When I think of all the character on The Big Bang Theory, the character that stands out to me loves to yell out “HOWARD!” That would be his mother. Maybe it is the mystery of not knowing who she is in-real-life, or because we have never seen her on the show. Who is Howard Wolowitz’s mother? When I think of the briskets that Howard’s mom makes, I can’t help but think that she is a plump lady, one who wears house coats and might even have a cigarette in her mouth. I can even see her with white or red hair.
Out of every actress I could imagine being Howard’s mother, I would have to pick Estelle Harris. I think she would be a bit older than what Howard’s mom’s age would be, but she would be a hoot to watch in scenes at their home. I would like to see his mother on the show, but then when we heard “HOWARD!” yelled from the rafters, the truth would no longer keep me as interested in her. I think that is why the director’s keep her their little secret. It has got to be that, or because they can’t justify an 84 year old woman being Howard’s mother. I would do just about anything to find out if they have Mrs. Estelle Harris sitting in a lounge chair sipping champagne waiting for her cue…
